Hey guys,

Nothing really interesting to report on my day off. I am here in Manhattan, Kansas, and just spent a relaxing day with my wife. We slept in, Holly called in "sick" to work... it's her last week at GTM... so she has time saved up and could afford to. It was nice to sleep in and not worry about anything except spending cuddle time with the wife. It's been nice to be with her these couple days. I can't wait for her to move up to Lincoln with me.

I met with Sir Jeffery Sagstetter about my DFE around 2pm. I told him a little bit about Lincoln, Quad-C, and this blog. Maybe he'll be reading this? I don't know. Anyways, he had faith in my ministry up here in Lincoln, and stated that he really didn't need to worry about me since this is my 4th internship. I don't know all the specifics on the whole DFE thing, but I do know how to handle rough situations and how to conduct myself during the internship. Now I just have to complete the small things that are on the checklist in order to receive credit, as well as my degree, AKA piece of tree paper. :P

We ate dinner and played a game with some friends, the Munai, the Millers, Kasey and Rob. It was good getting to see them and hang out with them. I'll miss those guys when we get totally moved.

I talked to Thomas, the I.T. guy for Quad-C on the phone. He changed the email and account settings on the server so that MY name is on the emails and all, not Eden's. I also asked him to check out Joy's email to see if there was any word on housing for Holly and I. He said there was one email pertaining to housing, but it was an email saying "no, we cannot" house the Bowles. Eh, oh well. Thomas then told me that him and his wife were finishing their basement. They had been praying about them having someone live with them, like us, and had a basement that was nearing completion. I told him thank you for the consideration, and if he needed any help with finishing the basement to give me a call, and I'd be happy to help. Especially since I'm bored while Holly's gone. We'll see if this is a possibility about us staying there.

Alright. I'm off to bed soon, even though I'm not too tired. Holly's already saying that she's sad that I'm leaving tomorrow... but it won't be too much longer that we'll be apart. Here's a video of her I like.
