Doesn't it sound fun to you? Well, it's not, in case you were wondering. But maybe that's just because I'm an intern, tired, and have little to no say on anything of importance.
Basically, the day consisted of me listening to others report how they're slimming their budgets, and other ideas to help with the budget issues. Lunch, then more budgets. Calendars came last, and didn't last long. We quickly combined everyone's calendar items, but everyone was ready to leave by then. A few quick revisions for the calendar, and we were done.
Sounds short, doesn't it? Nope. 7 hours. Blah. I ran over to the office to get some things done. I'm still trying to finish the Leader's booklet for Camp Timberlake. I didn't start drilling into that, but I was just trying to get things in order for the next day. I checked my email, cleaned up a few things, created some checklists for the rest of the week, and went "home"... which is now at the Porters.

Holly and I went over to our basement-home-to-be, aka the Beyer's, and Thomas gave Holly the tour of the place. We checked out the unfinished basement, and this gave Holly a better idea of where everything will go and how everything will go. Should be nice once things are done.
We ate dinner with the Porters, it was roast beef: crock pot style. It was delish. We watched American Idol, the season finale, and Lee won. Weak. I don't like him, but whatever... I guess America thinks that they need another male boring winner, like the last 3 seasons. Let's clog up that radio with the same sounding guy. Boring.
Time for bed after a good night hanging out with Kathy and Doug. Tomorrow, I'll get to hit the ground running with Camp stuff, and hopefully can get all the booklets done by the end of the week (Saturday). We'll see. Here's hoping. Good luck. Take care. Take luck and good care.
