I was home for this extended weekend, Sunday through Tuesday.
Not much went on except for just a few little personal things. Holly and I slept in on Monday, ate eggs and bacon for breaklunch. We lazed around. We had plans to go eat with the Stevenson's for dinner, but those plans fell through. No big deal.
Instead, we went and saw Iron Man 2. It was ok, nothing great or better than the first one. Still, it was entertaining.
On the way home, we stopped by Sonic, got some dessert, then randomly went to Digital Shelf and rented some more movies for the night. We weren't tired, so we figured, hey, let's watch some more movies.
Zoolander. Awesome as always. It's been a long time since I've seen Derelict Zoolander, and it was funny again. Then we watched Men Who Stare at Goats. That was funny as well, not what I expected, but funny nonetheless. Overall, it was a good movie night. And when I say "night", it literally was a movie NIGHT, roughly 6 hours of movie watching! Niiiiiice. All I did today (May 18) was get up, talk to Joy on the phone about housing and a few other CM stuff, and got around. Holly and I went to the County Clerk office to change over some car stuff. Then we cashed some checks. Blah. Came home, packed, then had a long, dramatic, movie-esque goodbye with Holly (she needs to come up here with me), and drove the 2:22 to Lincoln.
Talked to Joy and Dave some about their trip. Heidi is sick, throwing up... I think it's because of the socks she's been eating, including one of my socks. Dave said she's thrown up 2 socks. Crazy sock-eating dog. She just threw up about an hour ago, and I'm the only one awake, so I just cleaned all that up. There wasn't any sock throw-up, but there was a lot of grass. She's trying to get whatever it is out of her stomach. Poor Heidi. Hopefully she stops puking everywhere. It stinks.
Alright. Sorry about the puke stuff. I'm off to bed. Hope tomorrow goes well. Joy is back, and not in vacation mode, so I'm sure we'll get a lot done over the next few weeks leading up to Camp Timberlake. See ya later.
