Goodday.

Got to work about 10 minutes earlier than usual today... and I think I could've used the extra 10 minutes of sleep. For some reason today I was tired. I needed caffeine, food, or something before I came to work. I did none of that.

Garet wasn't here today, so I had the office all to myself. I checked my emails and responded to a couple of them. I laid my head down on the desk for about 2 minutes and decided that I need some energy boost of some kind. I got a Dr. Pepper, and that helped.

I hooked up my guitar, tuned up, and got the itunes pumping out the songs that I'll be doing for worship at Camp Timberlake. "Wake Up" by Leeland, "So Good to Me" by Matt Jones and another one I can't remember right now. I began to learn these songs, playing with them and singing with them. Most of them are too high for me, so I'm betting that I'll have to transpose the music to fit my voice better. Leeland sings his stuff so high, and I'm no pro or a tenor... so let's drop it a step or two. I haven't set up practice times, but I'm sure we'll be doing that soon. Should be a fun time learning these songs with some young guys.

I had lunch by myself at Taco Hut (yes, again), and had some burritos. Yum. Another DP helped as well. For some reason, today was just a drowsy kind of day. I couldn't shake it all day.

I made copies of the Fear Knot take-home stuff for the 11:00am service. Copy. Cut. Fold. Repeat. 80 copies. Another 80 copies. That's all I have to do for the Fear Knot stuff, but I'll have to do the 5-G Discovery prep tomorrow. I'll have to break into Joy's office and get that stuff out of there. So, there's something to do tomorrow.

I tried for about an hour to get the DVD decoder on the computer, because when you put a DVD in the computer, it won't read it. I guess the DVD drive didn't come with the original decoder. Blah. Boring computer stuff, but it is annoying for me when I'm trying to get some ideas for Camp Timberlake, Wake Up, Pair O' Bulls, The Game Plan... etc. You know what I mean? Bah humbug.

I went home about 10 til 5, which is the earliest I've gotten out of the office. So, it was a day of earliests for me. I came "home" to the Blythe's, took an hour nap, then watched LeBron play his last Cavs game. I was going to start reading "Simple Church", but I'll start that sometime when I'm really bored. I'm supposed to read the first half of it over the next month, so there's no rush to read it now.

And now... it's time to sleep. Hope you, the reader, is doing well. If you are, comment. It's free, you don't have to sign up for anything. It'd be nice to know if there's someone out there reading this. Thanks. :)
