Yeah, I was too worn out after Friday's work and play that I couldn't find the strength to blog. Here's what went down:
I started the day off by getting some work done. I made copies for the take-home stuff for the 9:30 5-G Discovery stuff, also created $3000 fake dollars. It was rather boring, copying, cutting 9 times for every 100 bucks. There are some messed up bills in there because of me putting too many pieces of paper under the slicer thingy. I made two gameboards for the money game. By the way, this week, the 9:30 5-G lesson is about giving and that yes, money is important, but giving to God is good. It's for Kindergarteners and 1st graders. We'll see how it goes.
After that, I played my guitar for a while, learning the songs, annoying Garet. It was his last day in the office on Friday, so he was just sitting back and just hangin out. He played guitar some too, and messed with the Rubik's cube.
Lunch was at Buffalo Wild Wings, and it was delicious. Todd had never been to BW's. He said he will definitely be returning soon. It was a good see-ya lunch for Garet. We got back here around 2, and I just relaxed and talked to Garet. Since it was his last day, and I've almost completed all I can before Joy gets back, I just thought I'd take advantage and just "do nothing" by talking to Garet since he'll be gone. It was a good buddy time. Guitar and Rubik's = good nothing time.
At 8:00pm, we went to LaserQuest. We ran around and shot each other for a solid 15 minutes with 7 people in our group... and about 30 other people total... and I did alright... 4th place. Better than anyone else in our group. There were some guys there that you could tell were regulars and knew the layout well, and teamed up on everyone else. There's my excuse for not doing better than 4th. :PWe went back to the church and played volleyball from 9-11:30, and had a good 6-on-6 game. Yeah, other people showed up to play volleyball, thus the 12 people. It was fun, and some people were good at the game, mixed with some terrible players too. There wasn't really a middle-man on being good or not... no one that was average. Either they were good/better or were bad/terrible. Made it interesting.
I was sore, like an old man should be. We played basketball inbetween volleyball games, and I ran around like an idiot. I got a lot of energy out, got my work-out in, and had a good time.
Came home, crashed, and didn't blog. I'll blog later tonight with today's report. Later.
