And I like it. I can't wait til we get to camp and things start going in motion. I'm starting to get a little worn out working on camp stuff. I feel like I've been working on it for months, not just a few weeks. It will be a relief to go to camp and see things that I've planned working... hopefully working. We'll see.
I didn't go over to help out today at the basement, mainly because my dad said that he would prefer me get my work done for camp and all before helping out with the basement. I want to help out with the basement... but he's right. I still have quite a bit to do. I needed to get the "What Happens Next?" videos rolling, so I looked at the videos Holly found on youtube. She found some good ones, but not 15 of them. I'll do 5 videos a day for the game, and that adds up to 3 days times 5 videos = 15 editing hours. Ok, maybe not hours... but it'll take a while.
I began "working" on the videos by looking for some more videos. Holly only had 4 videos that I could use, so I needed to find more. I think I spent about 3 hours browsing videos on youtube... and it seemed longer than that... but I found enough videos for the game. I started by converting all the files, hit "Begin" on the conversion, and went to lunch.
Holly and I went over to the Beyer's for lunch, but had to run back up to the church and set up for band practice. We had practice at 2pm. We went over what songs we'll be doing for camp, practiced them over and over... learning them. I already knew the songs, so this practice was more for everyone else to learn the songs. The song "Wake Up" by Leeland is way too high for me, but I think we're going to keep the same key for camp. It's in C... and that's killer for me. Oh well, I'll live... but my voice may be gone by the end of camp. We'll be singing it on the Sunday after we get back, so I may not be able to do that. We'll see... again, we'll see.

After practice, I went back up to work more on the What Happens Next videos, and almost got the first one done. Hopefully I can get it all done tomorrow. It's taking way way longer than it should.
I went home around 5:30 and just relaxed all night. Holly made enchiladas and empinadas (spelling?)... and it was sooooo gooooood. Very cheesy. Delish. I looks like we'll have some leftover of the enchiladas because she made a lot lot of it. We stayed up, talking and laughing. Holly and I watched an episode of LOST... we're getting close to the end... and it's time for bed.
